Purpose

The module SoCSOCrossSectionRenderer renders cross sections of CSOs on a 2D viewer.

Usage

Attach this module to a a subgraph of a SoView2DCSOExtensibleEditor to render cross sections of its CSOs if they cross visible slices.

This module can be placed anywhere in the subgraph because the SoView2DCSOExtensibleEditor renders with this general renderer last.

Visible Fields

Should Render

name: shouldRender, type: Bool, default: TRUE

If checked, the module renders cross sections of CSOs that cross the currently displayed slice.

Color Mode

name: colorMode, type: Enum, default: COLOR_GENERAL

Defines the color mode for rendered cross sections.

Values:

General	COLOR_GENERAL	Uses the General Color for cross sections.
As Cso	COLOR_AS_CSO	Uses the CSOs’ colors for cross sections.

General Color

name: generalColor, type: Color, default: 1 1 1

Sets a general color for rendering cross sections.

General Alpha

name: generalAlpha, type: Float, default: 1, minimum: 0, maximum: 1

Sets a general alpha value for rendering cross sections.

This alpha value is multiplied to the CSOs’ alpha regardless of the Color Mode.

Use Hole Correction

name: useHoleCorrection, type: Bool, default: TRUE

If checked, all CSOs on one slice are in relation to each other so that a CSO in another CSO leads to a hole (XOR).

A side effect of this option is that the cross section color is determined by the color of the CSO rendered last.

Use Hole Correction For Groups Only

name: useHoleCorrectionForGroupsOnly, type: Bool, default: FALSE

If checked, the hole correction is applied so that only CSOs in a same CSOGroup are set to be in a relation to each other.

Line Width Mode

name: fillingFromSideLineWidthMode, type: Enum, default: SIDE_FILLING_WIDTH_AUTOMATIC

Defines the line width mode for the cross section rendering.

Values:

Title	Name	Description
As Cso	SIDE_FILLING_WIDTH_AS_CSO	The cross sections of a CSO have the same line width as the CSO.
Automatic	SIDE_FILLING_WIDTH_AUTOMATIC	The line width of the cross section is set automatically to the projected voxel size in the CSO’s direction.
Manual	SIDE_FILLING_WIDTH_MANUAL	The line width is set to the value of Manual Width.

Manual Width

name: fillingFromSideManualLineWidth, type: Float, default: 1, minimum: 0

Sets the line width of cross sections manually.

Should Render Crossing Points

name: shouldRenderCrossingPoints, type: Bool, default: TRUE

If checked, the crossing points themselves are rendered.
